New Zealand's leading specialist in security services
Providing quality security since 2004
WD Security is located in central Auckland and is New Zealand's leading specialist in Crowd Controllers and Close Protection. WD Security commenced in 2004 with a view to provide licenced premises with the best professional security services available.
The Ministry of Justice recently brought in new regulations to the security industry which stipulates all security personnel to complete mandatory regulatory training before they can become licensed security personnel, including Crowd Controllers. Consequently, Lee took the opportunity to become Instructor-qualified to instruct the regulatory training to Crowd Controllers, Lee personally trains all crowd controllers that are contracted to WD Security as well as many other security providers.
Lee insists on a high level of training as he was a close combat instructor with the NZ army for ten years and personally trains all his Crowd Controllers to ensure they are instructed at a high level. Due to Lee's vast experience as an operator-owner and Instructor, he is able to provide well-trained equipped Crowd Controllers that can perform effectively as a team at any venue and offer support to any associated emergency services.
